Carlisle fought back from 3-1 down to stun Luton 4-3 at Kenilworth Road.

The hosts had gone in front after five minutes when Jack Marriott slotted into the bottom corner from Olly Lee's pass.

Josh McQuoid then headed over the top and Danny Green was also off-target from distance before home goalkeeper Mark Tyler parried well from Jason Kennedy.

Michael Raynes hooked over for the visitors, Danny Grainger put a close-range header wide and Mark Ellis lofted over from a good position.

Luton looked to have regained a foothold as Lee curled over and Marriott brought a save from Mark Gillespie.

The Cumbrians levelled in the 44th minute through Charlie Wyke after the striker escaped the home defence.

After the break, McQuoid immediately restored Luton's lead as he rose highest to head home Green's pinpoint cross.

It was Green who then made it 3-1 in the 57th minute as he produced a delightful volley into the far corner from 20 yards.

However, Carlisle came to life and were back in the game after 66 minutes as substitute Alex Gilliead turned in the area to shoot past Tyler.

They were level after 79 minutes as sub Jabo Ibehre volleyed past Tyler and the visitors won it a minute later when Derek Asamoah's mazy run ended with a low drive into the bottom corner.
