Sheffield United vs Shrewsbury Town - One or two concerns for Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins

Sheffield United manager Nigel Adkins confirmed one or two unnamed players were carrying unspecified knocks ahead of the home game against Shrewsbury.

Adkins, who named an unchanged starting line-up in the weekend draw at Walsall, could be tempted to rotate his squad as his side chases a first league win in five matches.

Defender David Edgar is available again following a hamstring injury and international duty with Canada and hopes to make his first appearance since early October.

Teenager Louis Reed returned to the squad on Saturday after a foot problem and is pushing for a recall, as are strikers Matt Done and Connor Salmon, plus midfielder Stefan Scougall.

Mat Sadler is banned for Shrewsbury's trip to Bramall Lane.

The left-back forced his way back into Micky Mellon's Sky Bet League One side for their 1-0 defeat at Wigan but picked up his fifth booking of the season.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival is to see a specialist after suffering a knee injury in training, forcing him to miss the loss at the DW Stadium.

Ian Black went off with a dead leg at Wigan and remains doubtful to face the Blades.
