Oldham Athletic AFC vs Barnsley - Jay Fulton back in contention for Oldham's home clash with Barnsley

Oldham have Jay Fulton back available for Saturday's Sky Bet League One home clash with Barnsley.

On-loan Swansea midfielder Fulton is set to return against the Tykes - who are managed by ex-Latics boss Lee Johnson - after missing Tuesday's FA Cup first-round replay win over Mansfield as he had not been given permission to feature in the competition.

Another player on loan at Oldham, Burnley defender Cameron Dummingan, is also available to David Dunn once more after being away on international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s.

Mike Jones and Jake Cassidy (both ankle) are close to making their comebacks but neither are expected to be involved this weekend, while Jonathan Forte (knee) and Lee Croft (ankle) remain sidelined.

Barnsley's new loan signings Aidan White and Kevin Long are expected to go straight into Johnson's squad.

White, who can play anywhere down the left side, arrived this week from Rotherham until January, while Burnley defender Long joined for an initial month on Thursday. Both provide Johnson with extra options as he bids to halt his side's run of eight successive league defeats.

Defender Reece Wabara returns to contention after missing last week's home defeat to Port Vale due to a one-game ban.

Winger Ryan Williams (groin) has returned to training but is not ready for match action after being restricted to one appearance this season and midfielder Josh Scowen (knee) is out.
