At the same time as Mathieu Valbuena and Karim Benzema’s footballing careers have been submersed in daily news reports regarding that blackmail sextape case, a new scandal is reportedly erupting in Spain in similar – although much more high profile – circumstances.
Spanish news outlet Diario Vasco are reporting that Barcelona’s Gerard Pique and Shakira are the victims in a fresh blackmail sextape scandal.
According to the very short report, the high profile Latin couple are being blackmailed by a former employee.
That employee is seeking a "large sum of money” to not release the footage, which is said to be a home video with high erotic content".
AS have also picked up the story, adding that the footballer and Colombian pop star are refusing to comment on the story.
The couple have two children: sons Milan and Sasha.
Should the story prove true, and the video leaks out, one can expect enormous interest in the video from across the planet.
