Newport County vs Brackley Town - Newport unchanged for FA Cup replay against Brackley

Newport seem set to start their FA Cup replay against Brackley with the side which finished Saturday's 2-2 league draw at Accrington.

On-loan Aston Villa defender Janoi Donacien left the Crown Ground on crutches after suffering an ankle injury on the sodden surface and could be out of action for several weeks.

Yan Klukowski replaced Donacien and scored Newport's first goal at Accrington, while fellow substitute Scott Boden was also on the scoresheet in Lancashire and is in line to start Tuesday's tie at Rodney Parade.

Andrew Hughes made the bench on Saturday after being out for 11 months with a cruciate knee ligament injury and could see some game-time against the non-league minnows, but loan signing Tommy O'Sullivan is still away on Wales Under-21 duty.

Brackley forced the first-round replay when former Newport defender Curtis McDonald came up with a dramatic equaliser in the fifth minute of stoppage time at St James Park.

The National League North outfit will include another Newport old boy, Eddie Ohiambo, in south Wales and former Northampton winger David Moyo could make the starting line-up after being among the substitutes in the first game, a 2-2 draw.

Speaking after Saturday's 2-2 draw at Fylde, Brackley manager Kevin Wilkin said: "A concern before the game was obviously not to let Tuesday's cup replay cloud our effort levels and decision-making. Now we can look forward to the next game."

The winners will travel to Sky Bet League Two side Barnet in the second round on Saturday, December 5.
