Olympiakos Piraeus vs Manchester City - Silva keeps feet on ground ahead of Dinamo

Olympiacos have enjoyed a promising start to their Champions League campaign but coach Marco Silva is keeping his feet firmly on the ground heading into Wednesday's match against Dinamo Zagreb in Piraeus.

The Greek champions are level with Bayern Munich on six points at the top of Group F after three games and are seemingly on course for the knockout stages.

They are three points clear of Arsenal and Dinamo with three games remaining.

Olympiacos have not lost against Dinamo in their past five meetings, winning four of them, including a 1-0 triumph in Zagreb two weeks ago when Ideye Brown's goal handed the Greek outfit their second victory in the competition.

"We want to do the best we can in every match," Silva said on his club's official website.

"We are happy with our performance and the results we have taken so far.

"We cannot predict the future of the group.

"What we will do is to take one match after the other, prepare ourselves properly and earn wins.

"We think of every single match and nothing else.

"What matters is to prepare the squad for every match in the best way possible so we collect more points."

Olympiacos, eight points clear of Panathinaikos at the top of the domestic standings, are the only team in the Greek Super League with a perfect record.

Saturday's 2-0 win at Veria was their ninth league success in a row and the club is off to its best start to a domestic campaign since 1979.

Dinamo are back in the group stages after a two-year absence. Despite their strong start to the competition which saw them win 2-1 at home to Arsenal, they fell 5-0 to Bayern Munich before losing at home to Olympiacos.

The Croatian champions, who have never qualified from the group stage in four previous attempts, are hoping to get back on track on Wednesday.

"Our games against Arsenal and Olympiacos showed that we are on the right path," Dinamo coach Zoran Mamic said to the Croatian press.

"We just need to be patient and the results will come."

Dinamo suffered their second straight league loss to drop to third in the Croatian First League when they lost 1-0 at Split on Friday. They are now four points behind league leaders Rijeka.

The hosts will be without Argentinian midfielder Alejandro Dominguez, who is out with a hamstring problem.

Andreas Bouchalakis, Giannis Maniatis and Esteban Cambiasso are also unavailable through injury.

Dinamo will be without the injured Ivo Pinto, Gordon Schildenfeld and El Arbi Hillel Soudani.
