Carlisle vs Yeovil Town - Luke Joyce banned for Carlisle as appeal fails

Carlisle will be without midfielder Luke Joyce for three games after his appeal against last week's red card was rejected.

Joyce was dismissed in the first half against Wycombe and will begin his suspension by missing Saturday's visit of Yeovil.

The Cumbrians' 10-goal top-scorer Jabo Ibehre looks unlikely to make his return from a hamstring problem, with manager Keith Curle refusing to risk him until he is fully fit.

New loan arrival Mark Ellis is available to bolster the defence, while Tom Miller is ready to return after a one-game ban.

Yeovil manager Paul Sturrock, meanwhile, has lost on-loan defender Stephen Arthurworrey to a knee injury.

The 21-year-old missed last weekend's 3-2 defeat to Cambridge after a recurrence of a knee problem and it was confirmed this week that he has returned to parent club Fulham to undergo surgery, cutting short his season-long loan deal at Huish Park.

It is another blow for Sturrock, who remains without Kevin Dawson, Simon Gillett, Ben Tozer, Jack Compton, Omar Sowunmi and Jamie Burrows.

The Glovers have not won in seven league matches, including defeats in their last three fixtures, and sit just one place off the foot of the table with two victories from 15 attempts.
