Dumbarton 0 - 5 Falkirk: John Baird hits three as Falkirk thrash Dumbarton
Posted Sunday, October 25, 2015 by PA
John Baird was a hat-trick hero as Falkirk crushed Dumbarton 5-0 at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium.
Peter Houston's men hit the front in the first five minutes when Baird rounded the goalkeeper to score from a fine pass by Lee Miller.
Baird scored a similar goal midway through the half, this time courtesy of a Mark Kerr pass.
Craig Sibbald fed Bob McHugh to drive home and put the match beyond the Sons before half-time.
Baird terrorised the hosts throughout, and grabbed his third from another well-weighted pass by Kerr.
Blair Alston rounded off the scoring from a Sibbald pass, as Dumbarton's dismal run continued.
