Brechin City 0 - 1 Albion Rovers FC: Joshua Mullin's goal for Albion condemns Brechin to another defeat
Posted Sunday, October 25, 2015 by PA
Brechin's dreadful run continued with a 1-0 defeat to Albion, their fifth home loss in six.
Both player-managers opted to sit out the fixture, and Darren Young was happier than counter-part Darren Dods at the end as his side put in a competent away performance.
The sides traded early efforts on goal in an even opening quarter.
The visitors got their noses in front midway through the half. Joshua Mullin swung in a cross and Paul Willis nodded cleverly past Graeme Smith.
In the second period, Mullin threatened to extend the lead, while Willie Dyer had a couple of dangerous efforts for Brechin.
The win took Albion up to third, as Brechin remained bottom.
