Manchester City winger Jesus Navas is eager anticipating their Champions League match against his home-town team Sevilla on Wednesday.
Navas made 393 appearances, winning the Spanish Cup and UEFA Cup twice each, for the La Liga club before making the move to City in 2013.
The 29-year-old admitted he still holds Sevilla in high regard but pledged to cast sentiment aside when the meet this week.
"It is a special moment and an important game for me, after everything I experienced and lived through in Seville, what they gave me, what I enjoyed and what we achieved together. There are a lot of good feelings there," he told Sky Sports.
"But I have got to think about the three points only. We just have to concentrate on ourselves, on giving a good performance and taking a big step towards qualification for the next stage. It is an important game for everybody."
The sides go into the match level on points in Group D, with a win and a loss from their opening two games, trailing leaders Juventus by three, and the winner will take a big step towards qualifying for the first knockout round.
