Chicharito hails 'intense' goalfest

Leverkusen striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez says he is happy with a point from their thrilling 4-4 draw with Roma at BayArena on Tuesday.
The Mexico international gave the German club a two-goal lead inside the first 20 minutes before the Giallorossi hit back through a Daniele De Rossi brace, Miralem Pjanic and Iago Falque.
But Bayer recovered a point, keeping them second in Group E, with goals from Kevin Kampl and Admir Mehmedi in the 84th and 86th minutes.
"We really wanted to win and take three points," Hernandez told the Bundesliga's official website. "Given the start we had you could see the result in a negative light, but the way we turned it round after going 4-2 down, scored twice late on and could even have won is very important.
"In the end, though, it's just as important that we stopped them taking the three points, which means that we now stay in second behind Barcelona.
"I suppose we feel that we gained a point, after being two goals behind. But then again, we were also two goals ahead and at home. I suppose because we equalised late on it tastes a bit sweeter for us.
"It was really intense, but we're happy. I'm delighted we managed to score those two late goals. I suppose plenty of people might have thought that the game was over, but we didn't stop fighting."
