Chelsea have reportedly been scouting Monaco playmaker Bernardo Silva ahead of a potential transfer, the Metro reports.
Silva a standout player in this summer’s European Under-21 Championship for Portugal and has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in world football.
Chelsea’s Belgium winger Eden Hazard, 24, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid – and he could be in trouble with Blues boss Jose Mourinho after appearing to ‘like’ a post on Instagram suggesting he could move to the Spanish club, The Sun reports.
Jose Mourinho has refused to reveal whether Eden Hazard will return to Chelsea’s starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League clash at Dynamo Kiev, the Daily Star reports.
Mourinho was critical of the Belgian superstar after leaving him on the substitutes’ bench for Saturday’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Kalidou Koulibaly turned down a transfer in the summer in order to prove himself at Napoli, according to his agent, the Daily Express reports.
The Senegal international, who also represented France at youth level, was heavily linked with a move to England in the off season.
Robert Lewandowski was a target of Chelsea when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge, the Italian manager has revealed via the Daily Mirror.
Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski, 27, is in the form of his life going into the Bavarian club’s clash with Arsenal on Tuesday night.
