Portsmouth vs Stevenage Borough - Pompey boss Paul Cook to keep the faith against Shrewsbury
Posted Tuesday, October 20, 2015 by PA
Portsmouth manager Paul Cook is expected to start the same team that won 1-0 at Newport on Saturday when his team host Stevenage in League Two on Tuesday evening.
Gareth Evans remains unavailable while he is serving the second of his three-match suspension.
And goalkeeper Paul Jones (knee), Adam McGurk (ankle), Jayden Stockley (ankle) and Jack Whatmough (knee) are all long-term absentees.
Beyond them, the manager has a fully-fit squad from which to choose.
Stevenage midfielder Chris Whelpdale is a doubt as Teddy Sheringham returns to Fratton Park.
Whelpdale had to be taken off with a groin injury in the first half of last weekend's win over Wycombe and is unlikely to recover in time.
Fellow midfielder Steven Schumacher is serving a one-match suspension while Ronnie Henry (back) and Connor Ogilvie (hamstring) are also struggling.
Adam Marriott, David McAllister, Charlie Lee (knees) and Rohdell Gordon (hamstring) have all resumed light training but are still regaining fitness.
