Queen of South vs Greenock Morton - Iain Russell to miss out for Queen of the South

Queen of the South striker Iain Russell is not yet ready to return after a hamstring problem and misses out against Morton.

On-loan Hibernian winger Alex Harris is back in contention after sitting out when the Dumfries men lost 3-0 to the Easter Road side last weekend.

Callum Tapping and Dale Hilson are both absent with foot injuries with manager James Fowler saying: "We have not won for a few games and we are looking to turn that around.

"We have to start the game well as we lost a goal last weekend early and that hits you harder when you are on a disappointing run."

Morton are without Luca Gasporotto, who is on international duty with Canada's Under-23 side.

Frank McKeown continues to be sidelined following knee surgery.

Manager Jim Duffy is looking for his side to make it three games undefeated at Palmerston this season as he explained: "We won down there in a cup tie and then hit back to earn a 2-2 draw so it has been a good venue so far. Those two games were really tight and I'm sure that this one will be as well.

"If we play like we can, and there is no reason why we shouldn't, then we can take something home with us."
