Morecambe vs Bristol Rovers - Morecambe sweating on Laurie Wilson for Bristol Rovers clash
Posted Friday, October 02, 2015 by PA
Morecambe could again be without defender Laurence Wilson for the visit of Bristol Rovers.
Wilson limped out of last weekend's game against Oxford with a hamstring injury and looks set to sit out a second match.
Manager Jim Bentley is still without captain Peter Murphy (knee), injured on the first day of the season, and striker Jack Kelleher.
Goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara has returned to parent club Manchester United without playing a game, with Tony Thompson (finger) ready to return to the bench.
Rovers boss Darrell Clarke could stick with the same side which ended a five-game winless run at Hartlepool in midweek.
Clarke made five changes to the side which had lost 2-1 at home to Portsmouth last weekend and was rewarded with a handsome 3-0 victory in the north-east.
Skipper Mark McChrystal made his first appearance of the season at Victoria Park after suffering a knee injury in July and was joined by Lee Mansell, Jake Gosling, Billy Bodin and Matty Taylor.
Young striker Jamie Lucas was on the bench for the game but he has been sent out on loan for the next month to Vanarama National League side Boreham Wood.
