Colchester United vs Bury - Kane not able to play for Colchester

Colchester will be without defender Kane Vincent-Young for the clash with Bury as the full-back faces up to eight weeks on the sidelines with an Achilles problem.

Tosin Olufemi is set to start at right-back once again having impressed in the midweek win over Bradford which continued the U's upturn in form.

Manager Tony Humes must decide whether to tinker with his line-up following a fourth Sky Bet League One victory.

Club captain Chris Porter made a late substitute appearance for what was the forward's first run-out since the opening day of the campaign because of an ankle injury.

In-form Bury, seeking a sixth successive league win, are awaiting the results of a scan and other fitness checks on midfielder Craig Jones' knee and calf injuries.

Jones was hurt in a red-card tackle from Peterborough's Erhun Oztumer during Tuesday's victory at London Road but the club hope he will be able to travel.

The Shakers are still without Daniel Nardiello, Ryan Lowe, Kelvin Etuhu and Keil O'Brien.

Manager David Flitcroft is also looking for goalkeeping cover after current back-up Jack Ruddy was called up by Scotland Under-19s and will be unavailable for the next three games.
