Doncaster Rovers 2 - 2 Swindon: Jonathan Obika's late leveller ends Swindon's run of three straight defeats

Substitute Jonathan Obika ended Swindon's run of three straight defeats by nodding in an injury-time equaliser as they thwarted Doncaster's bid to escape the clutches of the League One drop zone in a 2-2 draw.

Andy Williams' 80th-minute penalty looked to have given Rovers a come-from-behind victory after Keshi Anderson had cancelled out Nicky Ajose's opener, but Obika headed in a corner to deny Rovers a much-needed win.

Crystal Palace youngster Anderson provided the brightest moments of the first half, twice going close, while Williams' luck deserted him after heading wide, scuffing a shot over and seeing a strike deflected behind.

Henrik Ojamaa produced Swindon's only serious effort, curling an effort just wide, and the Estonian was to play an integral part in the opener, just two minutes after the break.

He flicked a great ball through to striker Ajose, who lobbed Thorsten Stuckmann to give Swindon the lead.

Ajose could have doubled the lead within 180 seconds, but saw his effort easily saved by Stuckmann after latching onto Fabien Robert's pass.

Caretaker-boss Rob Jones sent on Dany N'Guessan and the Frenchman had a header saved by Tyrell Belford, before Rovers finally drew level after 73 minutes - Anderson found space just inside Swindon's penalty area and delivered a low shot into the bottom corner.

Belford then parried a powerful N'Guessan effort, before Williams struck from the spot with 11 minutes to go after Drissa Traore was adjudged to have fouled James Coppinger in the area.

But then came Obika's late intervention to earn the visitors a precious point.
