Rochdale vs Shrewsbury Town preview - Keith Hill pondering his options ahead of Shrewsbury visit

Rochdale manager Keith Hill admits it may be time to change his tactics and line-up in order to find some consistency ahead of the visit of Shrewsbury.

Dale have lost back-to-back away games either side of the home win over Scunthorpe and despite not wanting to add extra complications he believes alternations may be necessary.

"It might be personnel, might be time to change the tactics," he said.

Forward Joe Bunney, promoted to the team after scoring as a substitute, lasted only 45 minutes in the weekend defeat at Milwall so more changes may be forced upon Hill regardless.

Mark Halstead will continue in goal for Shrewsbury when they visit Spotland.

He made his Shrews debut in place of the injured Jayson Leutwiler against Blackpool on Saturday, and will keep the gloves while his fellow keeper recuperates.

Jermaine Grandison was also missing last time out but has been given an outside chance of returning by boss Micky Mellon.

Jean Louis Akpa-Akpro made his case for a starting spot by scoring twice as a substitute against the Seasiders, with Tyrone Barnett vulnerable.
