Lavezzi is surplus to requirements at PSG after the arrival of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United.
Valencia and Inter Milan were reportedly interested in signing the Argentina striker and PSG were said to be willing to sell.
However, no offer materialised for the 30-year-old.
Arsenal had also been linked with a move but Arsene Wenger decided against brining in another striker to the Emirates.
And according to reports in Spain, Liverpool were also weighing up a move for the attacker as a replacement for Raheem Sterling.
While no deal could reached for sanction Lavezzi's exit from the Parc des Princes, he is still expected to leave during the January sales.
