Hannover 96 1 - 3 VfB Stuttgart: Stuttgart get off the mark and pile pressure on Hannover coach Michael Frontzeck
Posted Thursday, September 24, 2015 by PA
Stuttgart picked up their first win of the season to move off the foot of the table and increase the pressure on Hannover coach Michael Frontzeck, whose side slipped to the bottom of the Bundesliga after a 3-1 home defeat.
Kenan Karaman gave the hosts the lead from Hiroshi Kiyotake's pass, but Hannover's joy lasted just over a minute before Christian Gentner levelled for the visitors.
Timo Werner turned the game on its head just two minutes later, tucking the ball in after Daniel Ginczek was thwarted in a one-on-one by Hannover keeper Ron-Robert Zieler.
Alexandru Maxim completed the win for the Swabians in stoppage time with Hannover rarely looking like they could have found a route back into the game.
