Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique will be keeping his fingers crossed that the knee injury suffered by Neymar this week is not a serious one.
The 23-year-old forward, who had recently recovered from a bout of mumps, limped out of training with the Brazil squad on Thursday morning.
Neymar is now considered a major doubt for the friendly with Costa Rica in New Jersey on Saturday, and Enrique will be hoping the Canarinho skipper can make a full recovery before La Liga action resumes after the two-week break.
The Samba star enjoyed a productive second season at the Camp Nou, scoring 39 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Barca as they claimed the treble with the La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League titles.
