Former Marseille president Pape Diouf has claimed Andre Ayew is worth 100 million euros after starring in the 2-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
Former Marseille president Pape Diouf has claimed Andre Ayew is worth €100 million after starring in the 2-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
Ayew was instrumental in the Swans' victory at the Liberty Stadium, netting the opener and setting up Bafetimbi Gomis' winner after Juan Mata had given United the lead just after half-time.
And Diouf has taken the opportunity to praise the Ghanaian, suggesting the Red Devils have over paid significantly for Anthony Martial from Monaco.
"Last Sunday, little Andre Ayew beat Manchester United practically all by himself," Diouf told RMC.
"And I see that this same Manchester club have bought a young 19-year-old from Monaco [Anthony Martial] for almost 80m euros.
"Maybe next year, if he continues to play like he is playing, Ayew will be bought for 100m euros by Manchester United."
