Dumbarton vs Alloa Athletic preview - Dumbarton without Jamie Lindsay for Alloa clash

Dumbarton will look to open up a nine-point gap on Alloa when the sides meet at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium without midfielder Jamie Lindsay, who has a groin injury.
New recruit Stevie Ross has picked up a knock in training and is rated as a doubt, with manager Stephen Aitken looking for his side to start the match properly.
Aitken explained: "We started quite sloppy defensively against Falkirk and found ourselves two goals down. We improved after that and took the game to them but we lost 2-1.
"Alloa will come here very determined to win and we have to be strong defensively from the first whistle."
Alloa will give a debut to on-loan Rangers youngster Robbie Crawford, with manager Danny Lennon also having Dougie Hill available after injury. Iain Flannigan is absent due to a back injury.
Lennon said: "I was delighted to get Robbie on board and he will definitely feature against Dumbarton as we look to get the balance right.
"We are working hard on getting the blend right after a summer of significant change. The visit to Dumbarton would be an excellent game to show that we are getting there. We did not do enough in an attacking sense against Morton last Saturday but we have the chance to show improvement."
