Northampton Town vs Dagenham and Redbridge preview - Northampton still without Zander Diamond for Dagenham clash
Posted Friday, September 04, 2015 by PA
Northampton are again without experienced defender Zander Diamond for the visit of Dagenham in Sky Bet League Two.
The Scot has missed the last three games with a dead leg and is to undergo a scan in an attempt to get to the bottom of the problem.
Right-back Adam Yates is doubtful with a thigh strain and the match comes too soon for Ricky Holmes, despite the midfielder making good progress after a back injury.
Defenders Brendan Moloney and Evan Horwood remain on the long-term absence list.
Dagenham boss Wayne Burnett has plenty of decisions to make ahead of the game.
Without a win in League Two this season, the Daggers picked up their first victory of the campaign as they beat Cambridge 2-0 in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in midweek.
Matt McClure scored on his return from suspension and is likely to retain his place as Burnett looks to add to the four goals scored in his side's opening five league games.
Meanwhile, Clevid Dikamona, Matt Richards and Ashley Chambers will hope to stay in the side having started in Tuesday's cup win.
