Newly-signed Inter winger Ivan Perisic has expressed his gratitude to the fans of VfL Wolfsburg following his recent move to the San Siro.
Perisic joined the Nerrazzuri for a fee of €19 million on Monday, bringing an end to a his two-and-a-half-year spell at the Volkswagen Arena where he netted 20 goals in 80 appearances, helping the club to one German Cup and the German Super Cup.
Having now penned a five-year contract at the San Siro, Perisic remains grateful to everyone involved with the Bundesliga club and wished them all the best for the future.
"I’d like to thank Wolfsburg and the entire staff, the coach Dieter Hecking and sporting director Klaus Allofs for these last two and a half incredible years at Wolfsburg," he wrote on Instagram.
"A big thank you to the fans and my team mates. It has been a pleasure.”
