Anthony Martial arrived at Carrington earlier this afternoon for his Manchester United medical.
Assuming all goes well, the 19-year-old striker is set to complete a sensational move to Old Trafford, with a 36m pound fee being touted.
The move has come completely from left-field: just 24 hours ago, most United fans had never even heard of the Monaco striker.
The first reports emerged late last night, and from then more and more substance surfaced throughout this morning and afternoon; and as we can see with this pictorial evidence, they’ve transpired to be true.
With Chicharito signing for Bayer Leverkusen, United were down to just one senior striker in Wayne Rooney, and with this price tag on his shoulders, there’ll be immediate pressure for Martial to deliver goals.
The France U21 international is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who also pulled off a deadline day coup last season, by bringing Radamel Falcao to United on loan.
