Airdrie United 1 - 0 Peterhead : Airdrieonians keeper Neil Parry shines in win over Peterhead
Posted Sunday, August 30, 2015 by PA
Peterhead were punished for their failure to covert several chances as Jamie Bain's strike handed Airdrieonians a 1-0 victory.
The visitors found Neil Parry in inspired form, the Airdrieonians goalkeeper keeping out five efforts in the first half, two of them to Rory McAllister.
Bain made them pay, ending their three-match unbeaten run, by firing the winner into the bottom corner in the 71st minute.
Parry was also on hand to deny McAllister for a third time five minutes from the end to help Airdrieonians secure a second successive league victory.
