Arsenal boss Wenger makes contact with striker target's agent to discuss Emirates move

ARSENE WENGER has reportedly made contact with Andriy Yarmolenko's agent in an attempt to entice the Dynamo Kiev star to the Premier League.
Barcelona, along with Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton, are said to be interested in securing a deal for Yarmolenko.
However, rather than heading to the Premier League, a move to Barcelona is thought to be the Ukraine international's first choice.
But according to Spanish news outlet Fichajes, Gunners boss Wenger has phoned the 25-year-old's agent to discuss a move to the Emirates.
And to offer Arsenal another boost, Barcelona have reportedly withdrawn from the race to sign Yarmolenko.

A prolific goalscorer, Yarmolenko has scored 111 goals in 310 appearances for Dynamo Kyiv.
He grabbed a hat-trick during Ukraine's Euro 2016 qualifying clash against Luxembourg in 2014.
