Liverpool will look to build on an unbeaten start to the season when they welcome a struggling West Ham side to Anfield on Saturday.
The Reds have won two and drawn one of their first three games of the campaign and impressed in their 0-0 with Arsenal on Monday.
Jordan Henderson remains a fitness doubt with a foot injury, while Adam Lallana is also expected to miss out with a hip problem.
Daniel Sturridge returned to training this week, but is not yet close to a return, while Joe Allen remains a long-term concern.
West Ham, meanwhile, made a great start with a win over Arsenal on opening day, but went on to lose to Leicester City and Bournemouth.
Slaven Bilic has several injury and suspension concerns to deal with as both goalkeeper Adrian and Carl Jenkinson are banned after their respective red cards.
Diafra Sakho (groin) and Reece Oxford (knock) are both doubts and will face late fitness checks ahead of the game.
Mauro Zarate, Joey O'Brien (both hamstring), Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll (both knee) are set to miss the trip to Merseyside.
