Huddersfield Town vs Queens Park Rangers preview - Jacob Butterfield fit for Huddersfield's clash with QPR

Jacob Butterfield has recovered from the dead leg he sustained against Fulham last week and is available for Huddersfield's home game against QPR on Saturday.

Butterfield has been the subject of interest Derby, but manager Chris Powell has no doubt about the midfielder's state of mind ahead of the match, which comes three days before the transfer window shuts.

New loan signings Mustapaha Carayol and Emyr Huws, who joined from Middlesborough and Wigan respectively this week, could make their debuts.

Powell substituted Sean Scannell in the 77th minute of the Town's draw against Fulham last week, but the winger, who has been troubled by a hamstring complaint recently, should be fit to face Rangers.

QPR will be looking to move on swiftly from the embarrassment of Tuesday's 2-1 home Capital One Cup defeat to League Two Carlisle.

A considerable change in personnel looks certain, with boss Chris Ramsey having made 10 alterations to his first XI for the cup tie.

Ramsey has been quoted as saying there has been "a little bit of illness" in the squad that he hopes will not disrupt his plans too much, and there are doubts over midfielder Karl Henry's involvement as he is expecting the birth of his child.

The game comes too soon for forward Jamie Mackie (groin) and defender Yun Suk-young (knee), while Sandro is reportedly now available after resolving his visa issues, although Ramsey has been quoted as warning that the midfielder will have to fight for his place.
