Shrewsbury Town vs Burton Albion FC preview - James Wesolowski should play for Shrewsbury against Burton

James Wesolowski could make his first league appearance of the season for Shrewsbury when Burton visit.

The midfielder played in his first game since January after returning from a cruciate knee injury against Crystal Palace in midweek. Nathaniel Knight-Percival is unlikely to feature after his own long-term knee injury but is pencilled in to face Oldham in next week's Johnstone's Paint Trophy game.

Shrewsbury are yet to win at home this season but boss Micky Mellon expect their fortunes to improve at Greenhous Meadow.

"We have won one, we have beaten Blackburn and we have had four of the last five games away from home," he told the club website. "If we can carry on playing the way we are away from home and picking up points and can marry that up with home performances and results we will be fine."

Burton's performance against Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup has given boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink a selection dilemma ahead of the trip.

Hasselbaink made eight changes in midweek, with just Tom Naylor, Shane Cansdell-Sherriff and Robbie Weir survivors from the league victory against Peterborough, and saw his side take the Championship team to extra time, where they were eventually beaten 2-1.

Hasselbaink's biggest selection poser lies in goal where he must choose between Remi Matthews, who played on Tuesday night, and Jon McLaughlin. Calum Butcher and Matty Palmer also caught the Dutchman's eye with their performances in midfield.

On-loan Wolves winger Zeli Ismail (knee) is still not fit while the versatile Darius Charles is also still waiting to make his Albion debut as he works his way back to full fitness after a leg problem.
