Anderson’s Lazio missed out on the Champions League group stage
Manchester United have made a £29.1million plus add-ons bid for Lazio forward Felipe Anderson, according to reports in Italy.
The Brazilian was strongly linked with a switch to Old Trafford at the beginning of the transfer window, but the move failed to materialise as United pursued other targets.
However, United have been frustrated in their attempts to sign a high-profile attacker, and according to TuttoMercatoWeb they have reignited their interest in Anderson after Lazio were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayer Leverkusen.
The Italian outlet say that United have tabled a £29.1m offer plus add-ons for the 22-year-old, with Lazio facing a fight to keep hold of him after their demotion to the Europa League.
A hard-working midfielder renowned for his pace, Anderson enjoyed a breakout season with Lazio last term, registering 10 goals and seven assists in 23 appearances.
