Anfield flop Mario Balotelli sends emotional message to Liverpool fans

MARIO BALOTELLI has sent Liverpool a farewell message after returning to AC Milan.
Balotelli proved a disappointing flop at Anfield following his £16million move last summer.
The Italian scored four goals last season and was widely criticised for his attitude and work rate.
But after sealing a loan move to Milan - where he will have to follow strict behavioural guidelines - Balotelli thanked the Merseyside club and its support.
"I'm grateful to Liverpool FC and Liverpool fans for the time and opportunities you gave me," he wrote on Facebook.
"It's not a goodbye but rather a farewell. I'll be supporting you guys all the way in every competition… unless you face AC Milan. #‎YNWA #‎SUPERMARIOISBACK #‎IAMTHE45"
Kop boss Brendan Rodgers deemed Balotelli surplus to requirements this season after signing £32.5m Christian Benteke, Divock Origi and Danny Ings.
