Leeds United vs Sheffield Wed. preview - Rosler to shuffle his pack

Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler is expected to make changes for the home clash with derby rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

Rosler has no new injury concerns following the 2-2 midweek draw at Bristol City, but Leeds are preparing for their fourth game in 10 days and several players could be rested.

Luke Murphy was an unused substitute on Wednesday night and could make his first start of the season following minor knee surgery in the summer, while fellow midfielder Alex Mowatt may be recalled to the starting line-up.

Liam Cooper and Gaetano Berardi could freshen up Rosler's defence, but midfielder Lewis Cook sits out the final game of his three-match ban.

Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal has fitness doubts over skipper Glenn Loovens, Keiren Westwood and Atdhe Nuhiu.

Centre-half Loovens was forced out of the home draw against Reading in midweek after sustaining an ankle injury and was replaced by summer signing Vincent Sasso, who made his league debut.

Goalkeeper Westwood missed out on Tuesday night after taking a blow to the kidney area in last weekend's defeat at Ipswich - Joe Wildsmith deputised - and striker Nuhiu was absent due to a neck injury.

Summer signing Modou Sougou has stepped off the bench to score in two of the Owls' last three games and is pushing for his first start for the club.
