Plymouth Argyle 4 - 1 Carlisle : Jervis shines in Plymouth win

Fit-again Jake Jervis celebrated his return to the Plymouth starting line-up with two goals in the 4-1 League Two win over Carlisle United.
Jervis opened the scoring with a thumping 44th-minute opener as he switched from the right wing to the left, cut in from the touchline and let fly with a soaring shot from the angle of the box into the far top corner, giving Mark Gillespie no chance.
Reuben Reid bundled in Argyle's second goal in the 53rd minute from close range following a flick-on by Graham Carey from a corner.
Carey then pounced on a slip in the Carlisle defence to power forward and slot home Argyle's third goal in the 56th minute.
Carey and Reid combined to set up Jervis for his second after 65 minutes before Carlisle scored a stoppage-time consolation goal through substitute Joe Thompson, side-footing home on the volley from eight yards.
