Leicester midfielder Marc Albrighton says new boss Claudio Ranieri has galvanised the squad after winning their first two games of the campaign.
The Foxes followed up their impressive 4-2 win over Sunderland on the opening day with another solid showing in the 2-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday, putting Ranieri's side level on points with Manchester clubs City and United at the top of the table.
"Going forward we feel like we're a threat every time we attack, with the players we've got up top," Albrighton is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"Obviously the work rate the lads provide will always create chances, and they won't let defenders rest on the ball. The new manager has come in and is trying to shore things up at the back.
"We need to be solid, which I feel like we have been towards the end of last season. This season we look more composed and compact as a unit. That's what (Ranieri) is trying to get over to us - if we can shore things up there, fantastic."
