Carlisle vs Cambridge United preview - Curle waiting on Carlisle duo

Carlisle boss Keith Curle once again has decisions to make as his side prepare to host Cambridge in Sky Bet League Two.

Curle admits he has more first-teamers than he can fit in a 18-man matchday squad and there will be disappointments when he makes his call.

Strikers Charlie Wyke and Steven Rigg suffered knocks in the Tuesday's Capital One Cup win over Chesterfield and could be replaced in the starting XI by Jabo Ibehre and Derek Asamoah.

Kevin Osei has impressed in two substitute appearances so far and is pushing for a jersey, while defender David Atkinson will be monitored after being substituted in midweek following a spasm.

Leon Legge is a major doubt for Cambridge with sickness after he missed their 1-0 cup defeat to Rotherham on Tuesday.

Rory Gaffney and Jeff Hughes are definitely out for the visitors, who began their Sky Bet League Two campaign with a 3-0 win over Newport.

Boss RIchard Money told the club's official site: "The trip to Carlisle is made even tougher given the fact they have a very good team. I think the game will be won by the team who can play the best football on the day.

"We are heading into the longest away trip of the season, which is difficult but we have a group who will get their heads down and work."
