Barcelona winger Pedro is heading to England, according to his mum!
The tricky Spanish winger, formerly a target for Arsenal, has been tipped for Premier League stardom should Barcelona sanction a deal.
The Catalan giants have been unwilling to entertain the idea of losing their coveted forward.
However, Pedro's mum may have dropped a clanger after telling the president of a Canary Island-based club Raqui San Isidro that her son is heading to England.
Spanish radio station Cadena Ser (via 101greatgoals) revealed the claims, but did not specify which Premier League club he would be joining.
Although Manchester United are considered well ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool, with bookmakers offering just 1/6 for the deal.
Arsenal star Theo Walcott's new contract is worth £140,000-a-week and around £30m it total, report The Mirror.
The England international, who has scored 76 goals in 302 appearances since joining Arsenal from Southampton in 2006, signed a new four-year deal at the Emirates yesterday.
The 26-year-old had one year remaining on his previous contract and his new deal makes him one of the top earners in the Premier League.
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will go head-to-head to sign Arsenal target William Carvalho.
According to Portuguese publication A Bola, the Madrid pair are ready to dual for the midfield enforcer.
Carvalho, 23, suffered a fractured tibia during the U21 European Championships and will be out for three months.
Arsenal have frequently been linked with the Sporting Lisbon star, but they will find it considerably harder to secure his services.
