Post-treble Barca back underway on Monday

Barcelona will begin the pre-season on Monday 13th July with 12 players - including new signing Arda Turan - who will undergo different physical and medical tests.

The return to training will take place in stages and the first group will consist of the following players: Luis Suarez, Rafinha Alcantara, Douglas, Sergi Roberto, Adriano Correia, Thomas Vermaelen, Jeremy Mathieu, Jordi Masip, Arda Turan, Sandro, Munir and Alen Halilovic.

These players have been summoned for Monday morning at 08:00 (06:00 GMT) on a day dedicated to performing medical and physical tests - blood, cardiovascular and strength. The group of players will then participate in the first training session at 19:00 (17:00 GMT).

A second group will join Luis Enrique's pre-season training in the exact same manner. The group is made up of: Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Pedro Rodriguez, Andres Iniesta, Marc Bartra, Jordi Alba and Aleix Vidal - the club's other signing for next season, although both Vidal and Turan will not be able to play until January 2016.

The third group of footballers to join the preparations - the date is yet to be decided - consists of the Barça players who participated in the Copa America.
