The Playboy model has revealed that she punched footballer Ashley Cole in the face three times in a members only nightclub.

Cole allegedly bedded Carla's twin sister Melissa in his and ex-wife Cheryl's marital home following his split from the X Factor judge, but the lovers soon lost contact.

But whatever happened behind the scenes, it apparently riled up Carla when she spotted the footballer in London's Tramp club.

Carla claims that Cole followed her out of the VIP section into the foyer and "got in her face".

The 24-year-old said: "He was trying to get up in my face, and I didn’t know what was going on. I thought he was going to attack me like he did that woman in LA.

"I thought something bad was going to happen to me. I was scared, so I punched him.

"I was wearing a ring and hit him three times in the jaw. Afterwards he was shouting ‘She’s busted my lip.'"

Carla added: "No-one tried to stop me hitting him – I think that is because of Ashley’s bad karma.

"I did it for my sister. Ashley has caused her a lot of issues.

"He deserved it. He thinks he can treat women like dirt. He’s an a******."

Cole was said to have made Carla and Melissa “compete” against each other for a date with him after splitting from pop star wife Cheryl in 2011.

Cole faced a police probe last year after allegedly throwing a glass of champagne over a woman in Los Angeles, but no action was taken against him.

The 5am tiff came in celeb hotspot Tramp where Carla was partying with US rap star Drake, 28.

She claims Ashley is "obsessed" with the rapper – and jealous that she is pals with him.

Carla explained: "Drake invited me out to Tramp and Ashley was there.

"My friends said he kept looking over at me. I think he is jealous that I’m friends with Drake because he is obsessed with rap music and wants to be a singer.

"It was fine for the first few hours, but then we left the room – that is when Ashley followed me into the foyer."

"In the end Drake’s friends took me away from it.”

After the row Carla taunted the footballer on Twitter, writing: "Happy I just punched up @therealAC3 long awaited."

That message was later deleted – although Carla, 24, subsequently retweeted a gag from a football fan saying she would be "Arsenal fans’ new favourite model".

She was referring to supporters of the north London club who are still bitter about Cole's departure for arch-rivals Chelsea in 2006.
