Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has asserted that the Gunners play the Premier League's most pleasing brand of football, while also tipping his club to make a few new additions to the squad this summer.

Arsenal finished third behind Chelsea and Manchester City in the Premier League this past season, and manager Arsene Wenger came under fire from Blues boss Jose Mourinho for a lack of a results-oriented focus. At one point, the Portuguese provocateur called his French counterpart a "specialist in failure" for Arsenal's prolonged inability to lift a major trophy before last season's FA Cup triumph.

Ramsey, however, believes Wenger has the Emirates outfit on the right path toward overtaking Chelsea atop the league.

"We are going in the right direction. We have improved as a team defensively, and obviously we've shown we are able to create and score goals so it's just about getting that consistency throughout the season," the Wales international told Bleacher Report on Wednesday.

Aaron Ramsey said Arsenal can be very 'explosive.'

Alexis Sanchez, who was bought from Barcelona during last summer's transfer window, was a huge boost to Arsenal ambitions throughout the campaign. Ramsey hailed the Chilean's quality and, with Petr Cech rumoured to be on his way, hinted that more players of his level will follow in the July window.

"It's nice to have that sort of quality coming into the squad," he said of Sanchez.

"I think the club is in a position now where we can buy these sorts of players, and also keep our players as well. I am sure, like any season, there will be a couple more additions this summer.

"So, that, I think, is definitely going to help us in the long-term in trying to win the Premier League."

And according to Ramsey, the quality on pitch will only help Arsenal win over the neutral fans.

"I think we do like to get the ball down and move it quickly, and play one- and two-touch and keep the ball.

"We can be very explosive in our movements, and when it all clicks it's very easy on the eye. I think it's fair to say it's the best in the Premier League."
