Mikel set for Al Ain

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is expected to be unveiled at United Arab Emirates sided Al Ain in the near future.
The Nigerian international has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and finds himself behind Nemanja Matic in the pecking order at the London Club.
With the emergence of England Under-21 midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, his playing time is expected to be even less next season.
Incidentally, the news of the Mikel transfer was broke by Al Ain’s star striker Asamoah Gyan during an interview with a Ghanian journalist.
"It will be exciting playing with him in the same team, because I believe both of us, with the help of our other colleagues, can do more for the club," Gyan said.
Mikel, who has also extensive been linked with Turkish giants Fenerbahce, would leave Chelsea with a Champions League winner's medal, two league titles and four FA Cups to his name.
