Pre-season means big business

Liverpool will be travelling more than any other Premier League club in their pre-season campaign, according to reports in the British media.
The Reds' pre-season sees them playing in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and Finland between July 14 and August 1.
The plan with most big clubs that travel outside Europe for pre-season is to look for new commercial markets in which to push their brands to the fans, including opening up new markets for selling merchandise.
In July, Chelsea will be doing their pre-season in the United Sates playing a few matches before returning for the Community Shield match at Wembley against FA Cup winners Arsenal on August 2.
Manchester United will be in the US playing matches in Seattle, San Jose, Berkeley and Chicago.
Arsenal, Everton and Stoke City will all be in action in Singapore at the biennial Barclays Asia Trophy which starts on July 15.
