Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey were clearly hungry for some silverware this season as the Arsenal duo celebrated the Gunners’ FA Cup victory during Sunday’s open-top bus parade around north London.

Walcott, who opened the scoring during Saturday’s final against Aston Villa with a left-footed volley at Wembley, posted a picture of himself and Ramsey biting their new trophy in front of hundreds of Arsenal fans at Emirates Stadium.

The England international also used his personal Instagram account to snap a selfie with team-mate Kieran Gibbs with a backdrop of Gunners supporters on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking during Arsenal’s victory parade, Walcott underlined his faith in the current Gunners squad.

''I have the belief in this team and the manager does as well,” said Walcott. “Each player has to trust in each other now as well.

''This has got to be a stepping stone now even more to challenge for the title. That’s the ultimate goal, what everyone and all the kids dream of.

''We need to do it for the fans because they’ve been waiting for a long time. They enjoy these moments like every player does now.”

Walcott struck the opening goal as Arsene Wenger’s men ran out 4-0 winners over Aston Villa at Wembley in Saturday’s final.

Goals from Alexis Sanchez, Per Mertesacker and Olivier Giroud capped off an impressive display from the north London side as they wrapped up their 12th FA Cup triumph.

Earlier in the day, Walcott was pictured enjoying his breakfast next to Arsenal’s latest trophy.
