Preston North End vs Swindon preview - Preston fully armed at Wembley

Preston manager Simon Grayson has a full-strength squad and faces several selection dilemmas ahead of Sunday's Sky Bet League One play-off final against Swindon.

Grayson has paid tribute to club physio Matt Jackson and fitness coach Tom Little for ensuring all his players fit as the club embarks on its 63rd game of the season.

The Lilywhites boss added: "We have some tough calls to make. There are obviously going to be some disappointed players who have contributed a lot to the season so far - but that is football."

Midfielder Neil Kilkenny is hoping to continue after his return to the starting line-up for the semi-final second-leg win against Chesterfield a fortnight ago, while defenders Scott Laird and Chris Humphrey are both pushing for recalls.

Nathan Thompson faces a race against time to be fit for Swindon.

The Robins' captain sustained a slight tear to his hamstring during the second leg of his side's semi-final victory over Sheffield United on May 11 and has been undergoing oxygen therapy and receiving injections in an effort to get him ready for the game at Wembley.

Striker Andy Williams is also touch and go for the match, having suffered a grade two tear to the upper thigh during the first leg of the semi-final at Bramall Lane, while midfielder John Swift is a doubt with a calf problem.

Louis Thompson, who has not featured for the Robins since suffering shoulder ligament damage at Crewe at the end of February, could make a dramatic return on the biggest stage after parent club Norwich cleared him to play a part in the fixture.

On-loan wing-back Harry Toffolo, who missed both legs of the semi-final after sustaining a dead leg at Colchester on April 28, has returned to training and is available for selection.
