Dugarry urges Chelsea and Man Utd target Pogba to move to England

Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, is one of the most wanted talents in European football right now but Christophe Dugarry believes that the Premier League is the best place to develop his talents, as per the Daily Star.

The French international is expected to move away from Italy in the summer and is being pursued by a host of English clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, plus Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona as well as French champions, Paris Saint-Germain.

Dugarry though, who played 30 games for Birmingham City, feels Pogba would be suited to life in the English top flight and would be wasted in Europe.

"For me, the best league remains that of England. Each week, he could face Chelsea, Manchester, Arsenal… In Spain there are only four clubs, in Italy it is also very average. After that it is in the Paris region, so PSG may be the choice of the heart, even though back home can lose if they cannot put barriers around it," said Dugarry.

The financial fair play prevents the Parisian club to grow too fast but they will be candidates for success in the Champions League in the coming years. So everything depends on the project. If Paris takes only Pogba, it is useless," added the former striker and World Cup winner.

Pogba's display's have helped Massimo Allegri's team come within touching distance of a historic treble for the Old Lady, having already wrapped up the league title and Coppa Italia on Wednesday. The 22-year-old will have to replicate the form that has seen him complete 66 take ons this season, if he is to beat Barcelona in the Champions League final on June 6th.

If he were to return to these shores it of course wouldn't be the first time that he has played in the Premier League. The youngster made three appearances for Man United in 2011-12 season before moving to Juventus.
