Fifa has confirmed that Osaka and Yokohama will be the host cities for the 2015 Club World Cup in Japan.

This after India pulled out of the bidding in November.


At the 2002 World Cup, the Nagai Stadium in Osaka hosted three matches and in 2007 hosted the athletics world championships.


In 2002 the International Stadium in Yokohama hosted the World Cup final and in the past has hosted six Club World Cup finals.


The Club World Cup is made up of the champions of Fifa's six continental confederations plus the host nation's league title winner.
