RAHEEM STERLING will not extend his contract even if Liverpool offer him £900,000-a-week, his agent has reportedly claimed.

The England international is refusing to sign a new Reds deal and has told Brendan Rodgers he wants to quit the club.

Premier League rivals are ready to pounce with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United thought to be weighing up £50m moves for the 20-year-old.

In an explosive interview with the Evening Standard, Aidy Ward insisted he has Sterling's best interests at heart and that appears to involve a move away from Anfield.

He said: “I don’t care about the PR of the club and the club situation. I don’t care.

NO CHANCE: Raheem Sterling's agent has said the England international has no interest in signing a new deal

"He is definitely not signing. He’s not signing for £700, £800, £900,000-a-week. He is not signing.

"My job is to make sure I do the best with them (my clients). If people say I am bad at my job, or they are badly advised it does not matter.”

Sterling has already snubbed a new £100,000-a-week contract while City are understood to be preparing a £150,000-a-week offer.

Anfield chiefs have been forced to reject an approach from United for Sterling after Louis van Gaal enquired about a possible deal.
