Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri believes Italian sides' European exploits shows that Serie A is improving.
The Old Lady return to the last four of the Champions League for the first time in 12 years when they take on the might of Real Madrid on Tuesday, while there are two Italian sides in the Europa League semi-finals.
The first-leg in Turin represents a perfect opportunity for Allegri's men to show the watching world they are not there to make up the numbers as many think.
After a 1-0 victory over Sampdoria on Saturday, Juventus sealed their fourth straight Scudetto, but Allegri is focused on the matches to come, and is pleased with the progression Serie A has made.
"We're happy for what we've done, and for some of the football we've played, especially in Dortmund (in quarter-final)," he said. "In life you always need to improve.
"We're in the semis of the Champions League and we have Napoli and Fiorentina playing in the Europa League semis, so I think our league is improving."
