Van Gaal slams door on Chicharito comeback

Louis Van Gaal's response was categorical when asked about the possibility of Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez returning to Manchester United at the end of the season.
"Chicharito's future? I have sent him away already", reiterated the Dutch manager.
In the opinion of the United manager, the great week enjoyed by the Mexican does not mean that he will find a place in his team next season. "When you score a goal - as he has just done for Real Madrid - are you suddenly different? I don't think so", said Van Gaal.
The manager compared the Real Madrid striker to Danny Welbeck, who he advised to move on and who now plays for Arsenal. "I said the same as I said to Welbeck: 'You are again a substitute and I don't think that is good for you.'"
The Mexican's future currently remains unclear, despite performing at a very high level during a decisive spell of the season. To keep him in the Spanish capital, Real Madrid will have to shell out 20 million - a fee which 'Los Blancos' feel is too steep.
Things are now further complicated by Van Gaal's disinterest with the Dutchman set to remain at the helm of the Red Devils next season having made it abundantly clear that 'Chicharito' does not form part of his plans for the future.
